That same month Pfizer reported that its vaccine was still highly effective at six months. According to the CDC full protection occurs two weeks after the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines or two weeks after the single-dose Johnson Johnson vaccine. Before day 11 vaccination offers very little protection.
